It's the developers that shouldn't bring out a game until it's rock solid ready for actual game play. But it shouldn't be upto us players to have to troubleshoot and find fixes. After the game patch on 23rd November I didn't experience any crashes so time will tell if the patch has fixed the issues. I can play cold war without any issues, but I play MW2 I will get the game crashing and rebooting my PC after a match or 2, then other times I can get a few hrs until it crashes. We can try every tip, trick hopeful fix known to man, but unless they fix the actual game we will never have a permanent fix that will work for everyone. I have a 5600x, 3080 and 32gb of 3200mhz ram that's overclocked. I ensure my PC is optimized for gaming only and use a program to clean and clear the system and keep it optimized. The stability of the game is absolute garbage at the moment. No one should have to underclock CPU, GPU and RAM just to be able to play the game along with any other temporary fixes. Under clocked CPU to <4 GHz Under clocked ram, under clocked 4090 Reinstalled a fresh copy of windows, now my pc crashes when trying to open MW2….ĪLL overlays/background application are off during testing Still can’t even get the first loading screen, every time I boot the game it feels like I’m actually crashing sooner than previously. now I can even load into the menu, memory leaks are even causing my entire PC to crash.įor a AAA game that cost £90 is this acceptable? Or just what we have started to accept as normal. Started with a crash every 3-4 hours, to every game. Under clocked CPU to <4 GHz, Under clocked ram, under clocked 4090. ![]() Fixed the issue guys, thanks for everyone’s input my solution is…
